Ouya Early Adopters

Hey everyone, so I was just curious to see who jumped on the Ouya bandwagon?

Here's my +1 can't wait for March 2013!!!

For anyone who doesn't know what an Ouya is check this out http://www.ouya.tv/

Also what are your thoughts on this new console?

Thx for the link, yeah I am more than overly enthusiastic about it. Even if it sinks I'll be very happy with the hardware just to tinker with it.

I hope it doesn't sink though, as with anything new you gotta have a little faith. Right now my faith is the R840 I have riding on this :)

PS If all things pan out it would be really cool if Valve made their Steam client ARM compatible, a rooted Ouya with direct access to the hardware would make for a sweet gaming rig. Tiny but still sweet.

At this stage I dont trust it but mainly because I dont like the idea of Kickstarter and Im also unclear on how to actually pronounce Ouya.

Also what Omega said: We've seen almost nothing.

See, IMO, its going to go one of two ways.

1) It comes out, becomes another <insert failed console here>. There is a minority niche market for it but it doesn't gain a firm foothold and after a lack luster start with no or to few titles on it, it slowly slips into obscurity. With the kickstarter bubble firmly intact the wanton kickstarting of "fluff" projects continue to suck up the money of the stupid, idealistic or desperate.
2) It doesn't come out, causing the Kickstarted bubble to burst, bringing the hope and dreams of many crashing down. This in turn causes more responsible funding of kickstarter projects and less "fluff" causing better projects to come forth.

Personally Option 2 is more appealing in the long run.
