Haven't had time to dedicate to Competitive mode, just been playing quick matches here and there.

Quick-play has pretty much turned into cancer for me. I can't stand everyone running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.
That said competitive isn't all moonlight and roses either. I've found that I'm almost always playing "filler", so essentially ending up playing what the team needs and not what i want. This may come across as braggy but I play a mean ass reaper and I only really get to do that when I play in a pre made team of friends and or other people I've met on Overwatch.

Before season 2 started I hated playing Reinhardt..and was forced into playing him because everyone thinks they're some God at dps. IT didn't go all that well if I'm honest but now that I've played him quite a bit I'm starting to get the hang of him and I find myself picking him more and more.

Yeah, people are quick to pick offensive characters and completely forget that Reinhardt is a boss, even Mercy in her own right can dominate.

Season 2 is my first season.
Current Rank is 2090 or something there. Went as low as 1800 at a point :/ initial rank was 2500 or something (so I got a nice plat rank)
There are some cool Halloween skins. A half decent one for Zenyatta for once (looks like Hidan from Naruto) The only other good Zenyatta skin is Ifrit. Same for Pharah. Will buy both those if I don't get it in a chest by the end of the month.

Got my copy this week, played around a little bit but will get into it seriously on Thursday on wards.

Having 21+ heroes and only letting you play with 5 makes match up combo's incredible. Having said that I agree with most of you, quick play is sometimes filled with, what I like to refer to as; CODKIDDIES. They simply ignore the maps objectives and go for kills. It's all about that PoTG, I guess? Sometimes you get some really competent players who fulfil roles as needed or switch and adapt as the game progresses.

I've also been wanting to ask but how is season 2 going for everyone?

Just click on Competitive.

Played quite a bit on Sunday and pushed myself up about 250 ranking points to a high of 2491, but then frustratingly had a 5-5 draw and then lost 2-1 on Anubis. Hopefully will get up there this week.

Have to say though, I breath a big sigh of frustration everytime I see a Mccree on my team. Since his nerf he hasn't been useful and almost everyone I have seen play him (on attack) stand on the edges and try to use him to snipe, which is pretty useless when you need to push a point.

Has anyone been watching the Overwatch World Cup 2016? Quite compelling and exciting gameplay. Needless to say Russia wiped Germany, and Korea are pawning Australia.

just what I feared with a character like Sombra

But I think Sombra might be a tipping point with this issue. Stuns aren’t uncommon in Overwatch, but it’s something altogether different to retain control of your character and simply be told your buttons don’t work and there’s nothing you can do about it. It made me feel helpless. It’s not a challenge you can try to beat or a stun to learn to play around, it’s being suffocated by an enemy player and left gasping for breath.

This isn’t to say anything about how competitively viable or strong Sombra is—we’ll be taking a closer look at her from that angle next week. She’s just a dangerous concept to put into any game. Nobody enjoys having a keyboard taken out of their hand, and Blizzard has made doing so one of the most fun ways to play Overwatch yet.
