PC Gaming Chassis and CPU Cooler

Hey Guys. I am looking for a new gaming chassis and CPU cooler. I have about R3000 to spend but hoping not to have to spend all of it. I was looking at the HAFX and will probably go for that cause the HAF922 served me so well and will still serve me as i am going to use it for my wife's rig(same with the V8) but i want to know if there is anything maybe better.

As for the CPU cooler i don't really want to go for water cooling because i move my PC round quite a lot(lans etc.) scared of a leak etc. So what is the best air cooled CPU cooler.

Thanks Guys

Any Thermalright cooler should work fine. Had the TRUE120 and the Archon, both huge coolers.

Regarding the chassis, I'd still recommend the CM690II (you get a basic, normal and advanced one).

Shot man. About the Chassis that i probably should have mentioned is that it should be big as i want to fit another GTX580 in there and the ASUS GTX580 DirectCUII is massive! Wont fit into the 922 let alone the CM690II.(as far as i know)

I have a GTX480 with Accelero Plus VR004 cooler on it, making it longer, and it fits nicely into this case. Think it can take up to 10-11" card if I remember right.

If i was looking for a decent case and had a few bob (i believe there is the non-package one which will be the same price as the hafx):

Or the Silverstone Raven Series 02 is also quite nice.

The Silverstone is more comparable in price to the HAFX. With more sleek design imho.

But all these cases are great... depends what you like in terms of looks and features and your willingness to use your budget :)

Just a final suggestion, if you don't really fancy your kidneys and other "optional" body parts:

r3000 hey....that can buy a LOT of case. Personally I don't like HAFs. They're ugly and well...ugly. I very much like the Raven02 and in general I'm a big fan of Silverstone, so I totally agree with darth's recommendation there.

A few more:
Antec 1200
Lian Li PCB25S
Corsair 800D (if too pricey consider a lower tier Obsidian - still great cases).
Zalman GS1000

The problem that i see with these (ones with the links) is that there is not much ventilation on these cases. Or am i wrong and just cant see it?

The Antec Looks reasonable. Was think about Antec before I went with my CM690.

For those that aren't familiar with the 1200:

3 x 120mm intake fans on the front
2 x 120 mm exhaust fans on the rear
1 x 'bigboy' 200mm exhaust fan on the top.
1 optional 120mm side fan
1 optional 120mm mid-case fan tunnels air directly from the center 120mm intake onto the GPU's.

Have not had time to look at this one yet so thank you very much for the pic. This one did not have a link yet so i was only gonna have a look just now.

I would go with hafx case. and a noctua NH-D14 cpu cooler - you can get these from Evetech, I dont think anyone else stocks them.
