PC gaming controller

I use a XBox 360 controller for racing games, a steering wheel is more accurate but the controller do just fine...

I have a wired controller, do not like the remote ones

I also used a xbox controller for games like Assassins Creed, Prototype and racing games.
Some games are just better with a controller even if it's on a PC.

I've been trying to get a wired XBOX controller but they don't seem to be around anymore.
I have 2 wireless controllers with my console but they don't work with the pc, obviously.

You can get the wireless dongle sold seperately, IIRC, or you can buy the dongle + a controller for less than the controller alone, have a look at your local BTGames. Go figure.

I also use the xbox 360 controller for my pc. Had the choice between the Onza from Razer and the Xbox one. My gf wanted the 360 one rather so went for that one instead. I used to have the Isonic one which was complete shite, barely any games supported it.

Iv been looking for a wireless receiver locally for a while now but can't find one ANYWHERE.. (stand alone receiver) they only come out with a controller.. Which is REALLI lame..:/ How much does the receiver cost on it's own?(if it's out there)

I paid R249 for the receiver about 4 years ago ! do note that most receivers blow their fuses quite quickly if left on too long, then its essentially dead but there's a simple way to fix it.

I use a Logitech Rumble Pad 2 and I'm quite happy with it. It was cheaper than getting an xbox controller (R310 at the time), although some games these days assume that the only controller people have is an xbox one - fortunately that can be remedied by an emulator the x360e vibmod.

The Controller is supported out of the box, nothing extra is required except maybe tweaking your button layouts and assignements
In regards to the receivers, yes they are getting harder and harder to come by, I suppose it has to do with the fact that the controllers that come out with a receiver are inexpensive

Anybody using Steering Wheels? Are they worth it? I've actually been thinking about getting one, but there are different brands with different features which range from R300 to R1500... Way too many choices.
