Hmmm looking at this it made me think. We always have this never-ending dispute which looks like all the Rapture predictions .-. The problem is that the PC remains a decent prototyping platform that can give console companies the oppurtunity to see what hardware works best and provides them with an insight into what is possible with the current tech and what isn't.
Consoles remain the bread and butter of many developers as it's easy for them to create content since the tech on consoles remains constant allowing them to push console tech to the max before new tech is adopted. PC's on the other hand change at a rapid pace and provides a platform for developers to push the limits on the latest cutting edge tech (although this rarely happens)
We can pretty much expect PC's to remain till a unified platform exists that provides the best of both worlds. But till then it's different strokes for different folks. I don't think one platform as more superior than other but then again I do become green with envy with some of the titles that are console only releases at times
