Hi Weasley, I completely agree with you there. The pricing per Tb drops dramatically with each additional Tb that you choose. I am just very glad that the market has stabilized after the floods in Malaysia. The pricing is not quite where it should be but at least we are seeing prices that are comparable to 2010. I still believe there is still quite a lot of price wars to come with the advent of the SSD. I just hope that those price wars are a considerable one. Then we (Retailers in General) can push those discounted prices through to our clientele.

Ok so i'm looking at a new case in the price range of R1400 - R1600 and currently i like the Antec P280 for R1484 with shipping of R163

Can anyone tell me if i can get this cheaper and where or what alternative will come close to this case

My current Case is a HAF 932 i got it back when it was released in SA wich makes it 6 or 7 years old and my wife said it's time to grow up all the blue LED fans are lighting up the house too much

What i'm going for is as silent as possible cos my wife says my pc is noisy that does look nice the only thing that bothers me is drive space i have 6 drives with a 7th coming soon i only see 4 slots on that case unless the empty space above the 4 is where you hard mount the other drives.

Also the P280 takes 7 fans where of 2 can be adjusted to where you want them to blow air, the corsair has 5 and i like a cool system :)

So size wise that case is just a bit too small to my liking but i do like it and you gave me something else to look/think about (the matt finish also draws me a bit)
 
I need a serious Fckn upgrade.
I need a whole machine all together,these new games are so demanding on my processing power.

would love to help you out but i see you live in Capetown what are you looking to spend on a machine and will it be mostly for gaming?
