PC Hardware Bottlenecks? Do you have one?

That was on AIR by the way. Zalman CNPS10X eXtreme.

I couldn't go further than that. I either hit the wall of the board or the CPU. :(

I ran Heaven and Vantage IIRC at that speed, max temp was 80 odd lol.

that's a bit warm. how long did you run it for?
 
My hdd and ram are my bottlenecks. The 5770 still serves me very well, and besides every time I even mention a new gpu to my girlfriend she just gives me a dirty look lol
 
My SATA2 drives are by far the slowest components in my new rig.
Budget couldn't fit an SSD into the mix, so that will have to wait for B-day in August...
 
So far my only bottleneck is not having an OS installed on my hard drive:p

Still scratching around to find my disk of Windows 7

If you want me to give you one, I got but you'll have to come fetch it. I'm in the Kyalami/fourways area.

Just saw that you can get a thing to stick a couple of MMC flash card things (the old big bulky ones) in a thing and you have yourself a cheap SSD although, I don't know if the speeds will be any good. Anyone know anything about this?
 
When I had my PC it felt as if my 955BE and Sapphire 5850 were clashing heads...But I never OC'ed neither of the 2 so maybe it could have been...
