The tax man was kid enough to refund me some money and thusly I can replace my borked LCD monitor.

But, looking at the available monitors atm, I find it hard to get one that I need as there seems to be a stock shortage atm.

Can anyone recommend a good LED monitor for gaming, movies, etc.

should be atleast 23", 2ms, have both DVI and HDMI (for future proofing) displayport would be nice but they mostly come at R1000 extra.

bleh....wtf does some of these Samsung monitors have only VGA and HDMI??? My GPU only has two DVI outs and thus I will have to use a converter which I dont want to. The Samsug S23A350HS looks good but only has VGA and HDMI...

If it was my money I would skip the samsung and look at the Acer S242HL.
As far as I know you can get one for around R2000 and it is a gorgeous screen, with super thin bezels.

maaaaaaan would I like to have an Alienware monitor on my desktop.... I'd kill for a Alienware lappie..yeah yeah, I know, for the same price you can get better but I go OOH OOH, everytime I see one...I think the guys at IC are getting pretty suspicious...and tired of cleaning the floor with me slobbering all over it.

Guys, is there a real visible difference between 2ms and 5ms? Also, any know issues or problems with using a DVI to HDMI converter? Cuase I'm thinking of getting a screen with VGA and HDMI if I cant get one I like with DVI and HDMI, and using a DVI to HDMI converter from my GPU.
