PC sales slump in 2014

My favorite words remains: who still buys PCs anyways?
The only reason there is a decline is coz most people now rather have tablets.
Or got smart enough to buy parts and upgrade it instead of buying an entire new pc.
 
So are these sales figures based on "complete systems" rather than actual components being sold? I think they need to take a count on GPU's sold. After all, those GPU's need a PC to be installed in, so it's safe to say that it will be a much better reflection of what's going on with the PC market at least in the gaming/enthusiast sector.

I've recently spent R11,000 on my PC with a GPU and SSD upgrade. Even though that's mega bucks to me, it's nothing compared to what others are spending. So I don't believe the PC market is declining at all.
