Hi So all upgrading time for me and Joker is helping me on this one:

I brought from him the following:

I7 - 4820k
Asus Rampage Gene IV mobo
G-Skill rip Jaws Z ddr3 2133mhz cl11
Corsair H100i

After this I realised that the cooler is not fitting in my case so on the phone again....

And ordered a Corsair 750d case

Then I thought what the he'll it's Xmas and to not hassle why not get a psu and a ssd so he can build it for me to test his skills and ordered.

Seasonic Platinum 860 Watt Psu
Intel 520 240gb SSD

Waiting for old Pancakes to finish my build, do a good job :p and upload some pics.( I asked him to pimp it in red shiz)

I will post my sale pretty soon if anyone is interested.

Missing from this but only released in Dec is a EVGA 780ti superclocked with ACX cooler which is on order and a new 120hz 3d 27 inch monitor which I am still looking for any suggestions on the monitor and for fps do you go res or hz?

Still need some advice Re screens, I play fps mainly so I heard 120hz screens are better than higher res screens? Anyone that can comment on this?
 
Ok guys i have 1 more question regarding mouse pads, Mine is shot, looking at the ROCCAT Hiro or the Razor Megasoma 2, any guidelines or what I should consider that I did not think of. Budget around R600. Please help this is a conundrum... :p
 
Awesome thx, I am looking for the hard mouse pads tho the soft ones don't last with 3kids playing candy crush :p

A razer mouse pad is a good option,my brother has a razer mouse pad and a roccat mouse pad.He prefers the razer one.

I'm still using my trusty Glide7,it's large but i wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Cool looking rig so far,are you going to mod the outside of the case?
