PC Upgrade

Hi Guys

I need some advises. I'm planning to upgrade my PC and wanting to have 80 plus Platinum PSU. I did some sruvey and found Cooler Master V 1000W. It has very good review on Techpowerup. Although it marks as a 80 plus Gold PSU. But according to CM website, it said that V1000W actually has Platinum efficency. Is it for real? Does anyone know this? Or actually using one? Any suggestion?

How much equipment do you plan on putting in, and what kind of future upgrades do you think you might go for? 1000W might be way overkill.

If your looking for power supply in that price range I would steer you away from Coolermaster and rather point you in the direction of Seasonic, Antec or Corsair.

Even then why would you need that much power?

Thanks for your suggestion. I want to do Bitcoin mining.

But I've checked Rebeltech's price of Vanguard 1000W which is R2,335. It is about R1,000 cheaper than Antec, corsiar and Seasonic.

I also heard that Vanguard 1000W is OEM by Seasonic. So if this is the case, I will go for V1000W.
