PC version of Black Ops 2 gets no mod and private server love

To be Quite honest they d be fine.. Knew who i was before i got employed?

Technically im defending a product they are looking to sell again a good point for me ;)

I used the term retards to the people 1 line bombing saying they wont buy the game as they only read the headline.

Monk i know what you said that is why in my very first post i said its not about dedicated servers it is weather we get servers in our country and tried to validate my reason.

This was not the first forum that the same article went on and people acting like complete tards.

The thing is that you dont know what you get till you launch the game that is how activision is and it wont change soon.

MY honest opinion is that the author of the article shouldve done better research than copy pasting an article of a COMMUNITY site . As the official site and twitter feed had all the info needed to avoid these lash outs.

Seriously guys, calm down...

To put this back on rails, no one answered my question: What does this mean for clans (for interest sake)?

I blame it on the fact Omega uses Instagram :D

Cranky, we don't have any issue with the fact that you have an opinion, nor do we have an issue with you posting your opinion. It's your presentation that's the problem. Was all your rage and piss and vitriol really necessary? Maybe we would have put a bit more stock in your opinion if you were able to present it without sounding like a 13 year old CoD player? I was honestly expecting you to start telling us you were going to have sex with our moms.

Just remember that for next time you want to post a strongly worded opinion here. :)

Edit: And no offence, but I really don't believe any company would be content with one of their representatives going completely nuts like you did here. If they do condone such ragefits then it might explain why the company itself has such a bad rep and is one of the most-hated stores by gamers.

Its cool to have opinions Bud but you need to work on the way it comes across , that being said most of the guys here are not novice gamer's and there is always something more to a post . Everyone has a right to post what they feel , even if they only just read the title and said ahhh screw it .

As for how this actually affects the game , and peoples choices to Purchase it things like this may seem silly but man in this day and age I cant spend R500 with out being completely convinced it worth it , as someone who enjoys Multiplayer
One of the Key reasons I personally gave MW3 a miss was that Blops gave me endless grief in server connections and timeouts
lag (yes I do have a more than decent machine and line )
Add to that the lobby system just wasn't worth it for me .

Now even the reasoning over this move kinda makes sense but as South African gamer's we need to look at things bit more closely as to what they mean to us . Not hold our breath till launch day and hope for the best.

The COD franchise has made a lot of people upset (even though we all still buy it --- go figure)
So random posts from random users sometimes are not so random .

wonky
Just to prove my point he had to both retaliate to my negative rep and couldn't even think of something intelligent to say in response.

Oh well.

Yeah, he gave me the exact same neg-rep after I gave him one telling him to calm down.

Anyone willing to answer???

It essentially means you likely won't be able to host your own servers and will have to either play with each other P2P or play on whatever dedicated servers are available to you. Can't say for sure until more info is released.

If that's eventually the case when it gets released, I wonder how it'll affect it's adoption in the competitive scene (Clannies specifically), considering that clans usually rent servers (if I'm not mistaken).

It seems like you will still be able to play Peer-2-Peer, so I'm guessing any competitive play will have to be done through that.
