Personal Rig Update

So I am almost complete with my Threadripper build.

PC Parts list:
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/SinkBobo/saved/BRZQVn

Still to buy(Update: ordered, awaiting delivery):
  • Enermax TR4 360 cooler
  • Samsung 960 Pro/Evo
  • GTX 1080 Hybrid cooler

The Corsair H115i is handling the 1950X temps excellently. Problem is the fans are running a bit high(loud). Hoping I can drop fan speed on the Enermax and keeps the temps the same. Same reason I want to get the GTX1080 water cooler. Want a silent PC.

BTW - The 1000w Prime Titanium PSU is such a beast.

So I experienced zero issues with the build. Nothing at all didn't work or gave any problems. Everything worked first time. The only thing I don't like is the case. Poor cable management, poor PSU airflow(hence I flipped it, saw that trick on GamersNexus) and there were some stripped screws. So I don't recommend that case. Also, my Zenith extreme came with the Foxconn mounts which does require some muscle to screw in but worked.

Did you consider Vega cards even just a little?

I would be really scared to have my Case that high up.

Nope. I had the GPU already from my old PC. I might still get a Titan Xp if I can find a hybrid version. The file cabinet is full metal and rock solid.

Looks damn nice :D

Looking to add a bit more lighting to complement the G.Skillz memory?

The Enermax should allow you to drop the RPM of the fans a bit.
Otherwise what about a custom loop, cool GPU and CPU?

Forget the Xp just get the Titan V

Thanks. I was actually trying to stay away from the RGB stuff but stock shortages meant that I had to wait a long time for the stuff I wanted so ended with the RGB stuff. The case also has led strips but I just leave it turned off.

$3000 is way too high for me

The enemy of all PC builders, stock shortage.
Just want to keep it clean, I dig it. You at least turn the RGB off or just to a single color which makes the RGB stuff very handy for me.

LOL yeah it's WAY too much for any normal person. But then you get people who arn't that normal and get 4x of them.
Looks damn nice though.

No man take some proper photos!

:D So many people complaining about my poor camera skills. So those three parts have been ordered. I'm waiting for delivery. Then while I'm assembling I will take better pics. I'm actually really dreading the cable management part. Right now everything is untidy.
