Personalised Number Plates

Do you have one? What does it say?

Or what would it say if you would get one?

Been seeing lot's of these since I've moved to Gauteng, and dunno, personally I'd put one of my favourite bands on mine. Tyr perhaps. I don't really feel like being witty on my number plate :P

One I saw that made me laugh, though it's not a personalised one, is this:

Mine would be H8 MLM & ZM (Hate Malema & Zuma) or H8 GVMNT (Hate Government)

Probably be shot on site if I had those or will be lucky and they never will get it lol

The ridiculous thing is the fewer letter's you want, the more you pay for a personalized number plate.

3 numeric & 3 alpha characters (or vice versa): R1 450.00
4 to 7 alpha & / numeric characters: R3 450.00
1 to 3 alpha & / numeric characters: R5 950.00

What are they smoking lol.
I realized if I went ahead with it I would be "that guy" with the lame plates.
 
I love seeing lame ones like 6969 - WP, or 2FAST4U - WP and shit like that. Usually they have tinted windows as well so you can't see them. They probably know they're an idiot :D

What I see are personalised ones with their surname on mostly or numberplates which describes the drivers driving or skin colour
 
The one day I saw a car that had the number plate that said IZZIT.was a mercedes looked real crap looked like it was once a stylish car but then they made it look like crap lol
 
My old man was once suffering through the process of licensing a car, I can't remember the details, but he was not happy that day. Eventually, he got to the counter, and was doing the license, and the cashier asked if he wanted personalised number plates, and he said only if it can say "Screw the city council". That got some laughs from everyone waiting in the line.

I can't even think what I would go for if I had one, so I don't think I would get it. Maybe I would get "IMLOST" people tend to understand more if they know you don't know where you are lol.

I saw a fail one a while back, a Muslim woman driving a large BMW with the number plate NAZI-WP. I take it her name was Nazeema or something, so a pet name or something was used on the number plate but had a different effect :)

Some of the more fail ones I spot are the ones like 325-I (in the case of a Beemer), or GTI-4 (in the case of a Golf) or AUDITT (in the case of ... ah damn, nevermind) ....

I was wondering if these guys needed reminding of what they're driving?
