Petition: Bring the Big 4 to South Africa

The Big 4 Festival is a music festival featuring live performances by Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax, collectively known as "The Big 4" of thrash metal.

The first event took place on 22 June 2010 at the Sonisphere Festival at Vasil Levski National Stadium, Sofia, Bulgaria.

At present, the tour is visiting a number of countries, but South Africa is currently excluded from all tour plans. (More details at http://thebig4festival.com/)

The purpose of this petition is to garner support for this cause in order to provide promoters with feedback, in order to bring the festival to South Africa.

Awesomeness!!!! Help spread the word. I really cannot believe that Big Concerts made the "big" announcement today that they're bringing The Script out here?! Damn with all the hype around this I thought they were bringing out someone like AC/DC...but The Script?! Who are these guys? Never heard of 'em.

Anyway, Big 4 will be much more fun.

i've seen the big4 already. there is nothing much to see apart from them playing a song. can't see why apart from going to see them irl why else to be there. i can rock up with guitar hero just playing the some, be about on the same level for the "big" 4 after going to a proper performance artist, industrial metal show.

besides metallica and that skater boya is depressing. not to mention their continues "zomg metal family" / "zomg you are here", lol ?

Well, to each his own I guess. I remember when 'tallica came in 2005 (or was it 06) I had a lot of people telling me how they are not going bla bla bla...and now, they all regret it...but ya, i'd go....

For one I want to hear them live as I don't have the sound system to play that loud:p
And slayer is my fav band and megadeth.

...maybe i should start a petition to get PEARL JAM to come to SA
