Pinetown crash...... :(

That was horrific!

I saw similar footage on YouTube with dashcams. HORRIFIC car accidents, and VERY close encounters!

Prayers and condolences go out to all who've lost someone this terrible crash!:(

Thanks lost my dad to a crash also but with a cow on the n3 while we were on his bike at Cato Ridge.

While jogging last night my buddy mentioned this, really sad and it happens so fast. . .

Got goosebumps just thinking about it

Sorry to hear that, buddy. :(

Thanks already almost 12 years, time goes by so fast and 15 for my bro.

Not one day passes without thinking about them when doing stuff.

WOW thats really bad. like a normal day and boom gone in 4 seconds. this vid is really bad, we just going to see more like this with dash cams

Just seeing that video :( Wonder how fast the truck was going

Still surprised he went around the windy freeway at that speed without slowing down, I even have to go 80 on that hill.

Must have been 100 km/h+ when he got to the bottom.

Well I read that they rejected a report a year or two ago to ban trucks on that road. So who is really to blame for this?

new aerial footage

Oh my God ... I can't believe those two pedestrians made it to the other side alive! Unfortunately, if you look at the other video, a group of pedestrians on the pavement weren't so lucky. Freaking hell ...

I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. People often don't understand the impact losing a parent has on a young person. It certainly detours one's life to some degree and sends it in a different direction. September 7th was the 17 year anniversary of my father's death. I still miss him so much and wonder what things would've been like if he had not died so early on in my life. On the one hand, I have PTSD, and constantly phone my Mom/husband whenever I hear sirens. On the other, experiencing the death of my father (and some of my close friends) has made me extremely aware of the fragility of life. I keep in close contact with my Mom and tell her I love her (even if we've had a disagreement). My brother is terminally ill and, although I've experienced death first hand and kind of mentally played the scenario through my head, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle his death yet.
