I might be of the few that find most cellphone games a waste. One game that I enjoy very much is Plague. I've killed the world many times over and my wife just shakes her head when she sees what I'm playing.

I while back I searched to whether there was a windows version, couldn't find one, then a few weeks back, I saw its coming to STEAM.

For those who dont know Plague Inc, heres the meat and bones.

Plague Inc: Evolved is a unique mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation. Your pathogen has just infected 'Patient Zero' - now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly, global Plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself.

Over 25 million players have been infected by Plague Inc., and Plague Inc: Evolved combines the original critically acclaimed gameplay with significant, all-new features for PC:

Its an early access title but seems very playable. Great game and keeps you thinking and switching between screens to see what needs attention.

Yeah I've played the android version and really enjoyed it, and the new PC features look pretty sweet.
 
I don't know so much. A game where the object is to kill off billions of people with a virus.

The thought of it makes me quiver in disgust.

I guess it takes all kinds of people, even those that would kill others off, even if it is a game.

You would be surprised at how addictive it is.

Its not like they show you all the gore and stuff :p
 
I know shrike well and I am the same. games like these don't appeal to me at all.

I just frikking hate playing the bad ou
 
I gotta say, sometimes while playing, I cant help but feel a bit uneasy. Most games you play are pure fantasy or fiction, but this game...makes you think what it would be like if something really bad wakes up someday. For all our accomplishments, technology, arts, how smart we are...we are still just susceptible to the smallest of creatures.

Not to worry, there will always be Canada with their stupid bloody health care.
