Planescape: Torment available on GoG - MyGaming examines the CRPG legend

One of the best RPG's I have ever played (and I have played a LOT)!

Anyone who finds reading distasteful need not apply.

makes we want to scratch around my old cupboard... I KNOW I had a copy somewhere... It was 4 or 5 discs I recall...

lol want to hear morte's classic remarks again!

Also got my copy from cash crusaders for R50. Although it's just the normal dvd version.
At least mine takes less effort to install...

Hi all!

Nice game. Loved storyline and text-based interaction.
I remember, how much it took long nights to solve numerous quests, running back and forth. :o

First post. Yay!

As far as i an remember all cd's can be copied to the hard drive, just change the configuration file to point to the local folders instead of the cd\dvd drive.

I should probably start going into Cash Crusaders from now on. I always tend to give that place a miss and now look what I missed :p.

I just followed these instructions to the letter and pretty happy with the results, game looks awesome now. Only thing it doesn't mention is the running sideways backwards animation which annoyed the living crap out of me. To fix that turn on software mirroring in the the video options.

Don't know if it'll work for the GoG version, but it's a pretty solid guide.

cool i see that setups includes wide + ui mod i've linked :)

:edit

fixing the moonwalking :D [as mentioned by hideinlight]

Why are the sprites on screen walking backwards?
Unfortunately, some video cards process sprite animations poorly resulting in animations not displaying properly in the game. Contact your video card company and get the latest drivers for your video card. If this does not fix the problem, go to the video options menu in the game and turn on software mirroring. This will allow sprite mirroring to be handled through software rather than through hardware acceleration.
