Plants vs Zombies 2 announced

Its about frikkin time, i remember pouring hours and hours into the first PvZ and it was awesome! July cant come fast enough :D
 
Wasn't sure about where to post this - figured this thread looked about the newest. Over at Eurogamer they've got a release date and they've said it'll be free to play:

PopCap Games' long-awaited sequel to the excellent Plants vs. Zombies will launch next month and - at least initially - be exclusive to iOS devices.

Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time will sprout on the App Store worldwide on 18th July.

I'm not looking forward to it like I used to. I hope they bring out a PC version, and I hope it doesn't suck.
 
I got the first game bundled with my laptop, apparently. I should try it out some time. I've heard only good things about it.

read "I hope they bring out a PC version" as generally speaking that I hope v2 has it since version 1 didn't.
