A new Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare video has been released, this time showing off the game's 4-player co-op mode, Garden Ops.


Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a multiplayer-only action game due to launch "first" on Xbox platforms, priced at $39.99 / £34.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 / £24.99 on Xbox 360.
The game is set to feature "more than" ten maps and three modes: two 12v12 competitive multiplayer types called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops.

Developer PopCap recently delayed Garden Warfare by a week. According to a statement from the company, the game's new release date is February 25 in North America and February 27 in Europe, as opposed to the previously confirmed dates of February 18 and 20.

Another recent gameplay video showed off the game's 'Gardens & Graveyards' mode, which is described as a cross between Battlefield's Conquest and Rush modes.

I love my PvZ games, but pity it is only coming to xbox first :-/
 
Its actually less expensive than I thought, I thought it would be more like $60, maybe I will just have to get this game when it comes out. Plants vs zombies is a stragety game according to me, so it helps me to think what I have to do next. I would like to see how this game is going to be on the xbox.
 
Interesting how they changed it into a 3rd person view, waiting for the PC/PS3 release to play.

Will it still give the same type of fun now?
 
I don't think that the new one will be much better that the original.
The original one was a real casual game and that was what made it fun, but hopefully i will be wrong.

Didn't they do the same to the worms game, Worms 3D? I did not find it nice at all.

I preferred the original 2D version of the game because it was so much damn fun.

Yeah Worms 3D came out, it was a completely different way of playing ( actually harder to aim ) never bothered since then.
Hoping this new PvZ game does not have the same experience. Will have to wait and see.

They should actually remake worms 2D!

Agreed, Worms 3D was really difficult and lost that whole fun factor... It seems like they going with a completely different approach with Plants VS Zombies 3D though, HAs anyone seen PVSZ 2? Its pretty much the same as 1 just with more stuff... The 3D version i think is just cashing in off the success of the first game...

Yeah I played and finished the 2nd one, was just as fun as the first. Lots of new plants and stuff to choose from. But will see how this "3D" one goes
 
This looks a lot more fun than I previously expected. Might actually pick this up - just worried that it gets old fast.
 
Wow I've been dodging this thread as I had no interest in the previous 2 games, but having watched the vid in the OP I must say it looks pretty cool! I never expected them to go fully 3D. Sucks about the timed exclusive though.
 
Do any of you know if the 2d made if I may call that it like the older 2, will be included maybe as a mini-game in this one, it can be great, I think this game on the xbox will have easy achievements, because arcade like games that moves to xbox or ps3 usually have easy achievements.

Hope they don't destroy it like they did with worms since I want an enjoyable game for my Xbox as there isn't many titles I like on it.
