Platform price discrepancies

I kinda understand the price differences between consoles and pc as (from what I understand) devs have to pay Sony/Microsoft to publish games on their respective console (not sure how much though). But why does there seem to be such a massive price difference between pc and console? And between 360 and PS3 sometimes? Is this the retailers fault? Case in point -> Borderlands 2 @ kalahari.com....

PC: R282
XBOX: R660
PS3: R377

Really?

Wait so you understand the price difference between consoles and pc.... but not the difference between pc and consoles?

In this case, it's Kalahari's fault for mucking up their pricing. The distributors who bring the games in set the RRPs and its up to the retailers to stick to those or raise or lower them as they wish.

It might also be a case that the PS3 version of Borderlands 2 is selling really poorly which is why they dropped to price to move the stock they have available.
