Playerunknown's battlegrounds

So I finally decided to hop on this bandwagon after watching some streams of it. I was hesitant because of some of the resemblence it bears to DayZ which I found incredibly dull but this is a lot faster paced and, crucially, a lot more fun.
My first few rounds got me questioning is this was really playable since I got a fair bit of rubberbanding but it must have been the server because it didn't happen again at least.

The tension is great and the scrabble for a gun when someone else has landed close to you is quite frantic. This has been my best placing so far:

Which was by far my most cowardly and cautious round. I happened to land close to the central area and hid in an apartment building for a fair bit. I only encountered one person but it was quite a decent gun-fight. My SMG ran out of bullets after getting a few hits on the enemy, a quick change to a shotgun and BOOM, took him down. I then foolishly didn't grab his motorbike and decided to run for the safe zone. My health low, I got taken down by the electric field.

It's going to take a bit of learning but I'm already starting to enjoy the game.
 
also bought it over the weekend.

its a cool game, the lag is just driving me insane as the husband and i cant both play at the same time....

Also i managed to make it to the #3 , thanks to my stealthy run and hide and wait for other ppl to take out ppl strategy:D.

What line are you guys using? It should not be that tasking at all

ADSL WITH AFRIHOST. We have a 10mb line but barely get 6mb speeds at times. telkom has been at our house 3 times the past 10 days. they refuse to upgrade the exchange.

That should not be an issue at all. Think something else is wrong imo

Ja we know. the issue is with the line. telkom says we are too far from the exchange hence all our issues and we call BS as we have had decent internet for the past 4 years, its just the past 3 months that things have been so crap. we have the same issue with other games online as well its just worse with this as there isnt a local server

jip the lines fine for 10 minutes and then reverts to crap again. Vumatel is almost done with the fibre installation in our area then we can switch to that at least.

That is their go to line. I got the same bullshit story when we had problems, regardless of the fact that I have been using 8Mbps without any issue for more than a year. Then they jump to the next excuse.

Haha, the eletric field stole my one kill. I damaged the guy enough that he died in 1 second from the world damage. The last 3 of us were all hiding inside and outside a building and I wondered if the circle wouldn't contract further because it stayed where it was for a long time. Then finally when it contracted it was a mad sprint to keep from dying.
