Playfire Rewards Thread

oh...mmk, i found the rewards for it to be rather easy once you have the hang of the mechanics (slide-jump, wall jump, picking consistent-beat song). I'm up to $20 as a direct result :o

Back on topic, I'll try update on any developments regarding the Valve issue, so far Playfire have been quiet on that forum :(

Service Update - After conversations with Valve, regarding achievements not tracking, we have formulated a fix and hope to have it deployed this afternoon.

Lol, the closest I got to any of the rush bros' achievement was getting 31 sec on lava chase.. off by 1sec >.<

But at least I got the 0.50 pound (sterling) for playing for the game for the first time :D
I suck at platformers :(

I wish there was a way to automatically scan playfire rewards versus my library. I have bought a ton of games on sale and humble and quite often don't even know the extent of my library. So i could scan the "Rewards on offer" and not realize i own some of those games and coudl play them for cash.

if only there was a website or tool that could bounce the rewards on offer, against my total library, and flag the applicable games.

edit : man, i LOVE the internet!!! I posted this question on Playfire discussion thread and someone has already designed exactly what I was looking for :) Please check it out and remember to donate to the dude, as he has helped us earn money!

You welcome dude. This sight has totally changed my outlook on the Playfire rewards program. It used to be something I would check every now and then. But with this site, I easily track my rewards progress daily

If you enjoying the app, Don't forget to do donate something to help the dude out

Yeah Hiro has made my thread rather obsolete...not that I'm complaining, since it showed me a free game or 2 I had missed... hehe

You don't by any chance know the dude? Or is it you??:wtf:
Lol. Nah, he is some Polish dude. Don't know him from a bar of soap. But I am thrilled with the site and don't want to see him go under due to lack of funding.

Oh, and in case you wondering, I have indeed put my money where my mouth is :)

We hear rumors of another sale on the horizon, keep a eye out for @Playfire Rewards on daily top sellers! ;)

On the plus side, yes! More free money. On the bad side, I just caught up with all my rewards, now it's going to start all over again.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how Playfire and GMG can afford to do this? They're basically giving away money, and quite a bit of it at that. They get nothing in return, other than community gratitude, which can be much easier to obtain doing other things. Is Bruce Wayne funding them or something?

Talking about catching up on rewards, I've been playing Mafia 2, and in my mind I caught myself reading your post in that italian mafia voice lol. Guess I've been playing too long

Hahaha :D I also recently played it again. That accent is so great. Finished the rewards now though.

It's a good game, I think it's sad that it wasn't well received when it launched. They really captured the spirit of the Mafia, and the whole post war era. The city, although lacking in side missions, is great because of the atmosphere it creates. And when it snows, the game looks fantastic. There's so many small details.

I also worry about this. It's not like they only reward you on games purchased FROM greenmangaming, so they could end up paying u tons and not receiving much in return, apart from when u spend the credit. Hope they have thought this thru and don't go bust

Yeah I'm really enjoying it. The music, the news broadcasts. The graphics are really nice, and the shooting cover mechanics are great. All round great game.

Rewards are up for Tomb Raider and Brutal Legend, which most people should have by now.

Also some for Metal Gear, KoA: Reckoning and Spelunky.

There are a fewer rewards than usual. Hopefully they're just doing that because they'll be adding rewards every day. It would suck if they shut down Playfire Rewards, where else am I going to get my free money? :D

Damn, I already have most of the Amalur points. Just checking, but they don't take that into account by any chance and still give you the credits, right?
