Playing Heroes of Newerth from behind a proxy server

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knew a program which I could use to play HoN from behind a proxy server. I am at University and the proxy they use prevents me from playing alot of games...especially GFWL games. I never had a problem playing Warcraft on the Twighlight server and was hoping I would manage with HoN...but to no avail...

Any advice?
 
Urgh, well I am not really clued up on proxyservers. i mean I know the proxy address and port number...how would I know if its "transparent"
 
Hey Cobalt, check out proxifier.
But be warned that tunneling through your universities proxy will be going against some of their rules and if the network admin checks up you'll have to answer.
 
I used proxifier at rhodes to play war3, but noone has been able to get HoN to work.

The game has to authenticate to S2's international server, thats why it won't go thru :(

Come back to PE Cobalt, we can jam then :P

No I dont think that would help, I'll have a go with proxifier and wireshark this weekend and see what I can do with hon, I'll post if I find anything interisting.
