I'm kinda peeved as I don't appreciate having a weaker system because I was an early adopter. I'm still hoping they'll offer some kind of trade in system but think that's very unlikely. The only positive is that all the games will still function regardless of which console you have, but it will always annoy me that I'm playing an inferior version of a exclusive title. Hopefully most of the difference will be felt with VR and outputting 4k resolutions and less with games looking substantially worse if you own the original console.

If consoles are heading the way of PC's with upgrades necessary every few years console gaming is looking like a bleak future. I'd switch over to PC completely but unfortunately most of the best titles I've ever played were Sony exclusives.
 
I wonder if they intentionally called it "Neo", being an anagram of "One", could be a poke at Microsoft.
 
lol upscaling...I knew they would pull that out of the hat. Dear Sony...All you're doing with this upgrade is pissing off your player base.
 
I don't mind selling mine and upgrading. Have actually been thinking about doing exactly this, though not because of 4k and I couldn't be arsed about it. I just want the newer design and the 1TB drive. Speaking of which, what size drive does this come with?

I'm still considering selling my PS4 as I STILL haven't played anything on it 2 years on... :p It's been a nice decoration on my bookshelf though.
