PlayStation 4 SA pricing: bundles, games, peripherals

I managed to buy the PS4 Launch Edition from Amazon US this morning. It sold out in less than an hour.
Hopefully it will arrive next week :).
 
I forsee a lot of second hand consoles in the future, as people can't afford the games. Or just lackluster sales in South Africa.
 
At least the online stores like Takealot and Kalahari are cheaper(not by much though).
Games range between R620-R720 and the DS4 and PS Camera are R850 each.
 
Two reasons to wait and not get it on launch.

1) Let them sort out all the hardware kinks in later revisions.
2) Let there actually be games worth forking out nearly seven grand for.
 
I'm really interested in getting one of the consoles but with those game prices I'll just wait and put that cash towards another pc component :p.
 
I'm not being greatly impressed by the visuals on these consoles. Sure, they aren't bad, and definitely an improvement over the current-gen consoles - but my PC is still outperforming them is terms of resolution and FPS, and it's knocking on 4 years old. We're supposed to use these new consoles for another 10 years? I'd rather spend my money on PC upgrades.

GET PS+, you will never need to buy a game again :) at least 2 free games every month
 
Quite a hefty price there will definitely wait 1-2 years when they drop below 3k with some great bundles then I will purchase it like I did with the xbox 360 :D.
