Playstation Plus Thread

It's not a game, it's a movie with a couple of sections that you can play. Definitely not worthy of the Max Payne title, but at that price it's probably okay.
What? I have to completely disagree with you here man. Very worthy of the Max Payne title and the best third person shooter I have ever played, and I have played MANY. Yeah it has a lot of cutscenes, but it also has a brilliant story do I don't understand why so many people complain about them. You can also skip them as soon as it's done loading. Lots of games have more and longer cutscenes. I finished it 3 times on PS3 and have put about 50 hours in PC as well and for that price it is a bargain.

The MP was pretty damn awesome as well.

I was absolutely disgusted by it. The original games were awesome, especially MP2, I just played over and over. I've spent about 3 hours playing MP3, and only 15 minutes of that was actual gameplay. No thanks.

Lol, different folks for different folks I suppose. I love the whole Max Payne series, finished all the games multiple times.

I'm sorry, but saying you got 15 minutes gameplay in 3 hours is just plain BS, no offence. Also, the shooting mechanics and the way the character is physically grounded in the world is unmatched in any game I have ever played.

I agree I loved that game and the mp was great too.It also had some classic one liners. It is like Baghdad with G strings.

I'm on the supporters side of MP3. I really enjoyed it. It has about the same amount of cut scenes as the Mass Effect games, but people don't complain about them? I love a game with strong narration and if they have to do so through static scenes then that's fine by me...

Free PS4 DriveClub Taster Will Come in Addition to Usual PlayStation Plus Allocation

You may have a few concerns with the quality of PlayStation Plus right now, but Sony’s aiming to shepherd you into the holiday season in style this October with a bumper update – including the hotly anticipated DriveClub PS Plus Edition sampler. While this doesn’t represent the full release, developer Evolution Studios has promised that you’ll get a sizeable chunk of content – and it won’t be taking up one of the free game slots for the month, either.
Writing on the PlayStation Blog, manager Fred Dutton confirmed as much. “DriveClub will be in addition to you regular PlayStation Plus allocation,” he elaborated in response to a fan. This means that you’ll get two complimentary PlayStation 4 titles – which are unannounced at the time of typing – as well as the extended demo. Do you think that this is a step in the right direction for the Japanese giant’s subscription service? Let us know in the comments section below.

Sorry for quoting directly from another site, didn't have much to say about it. But looking forward to DriveClub, so this will be a welcome addition.

Also if you have the PS+ version you can get the full game at a discounted price of $49.99 (AFAIK) as opposed to R800+ for the retail.

I guess that will only be available on the store though?
Which suits me fine, I would rather pay that price (even converted) and download it. I think I recall them saying in an interview it would be around 26GB.

Consider it sold! I see it's going to be the same as Destiny, constant updates to tracks, cars and events.

Yeah, I had a look at their road-map ('scuse the pun) for the next year. Chock of updates, cars and tracks, almost every month till June/July.

The download size of driveclub is 14 gigs and that is for all versions, this is great news makes purchasing the full version nice and easy.I can not wait to play it.

I dunno if I can afford it any more with my new Xbone purchase. My selection of upcoming games has to be very stringent now.

You can upgrade your Ps+ version of driveclub for 39.99 euros that is not bad considering the price of games these days.
