PlayStation’s best-selling games - 2014

I can't help but notice that the PS4 list does not have a lot of games that are specifically next (I mean Current) gen games. Remakes, remakes, remakes, remakes.

I really don't get it. Why are so much resources poured into the remakes? It seems like it is the only games being focused on...I know there are tons of things being worked on, but COME ON!

To keep players busy until the release of newer titles? That is the impression I'm getting.

That's my feeling too. But these are remakes, so many of them have probably played those titles before. There are some that haven't and now they get a chance, but if I spent R6500 on a new console, I want games that are made for that console and not rehashes of older generation stuff.

There are console-release titles, but each of them will likely take a week to finish (based on the type of game), then you have to wait another few months to play a new game. Good thing these games have re-playability.

I for one can replay a game quite a few times over ("clocking" it a few times) (e.g FC3, blur etc).
