Please Help.........What monitor to buy

I am stuck between two worlds. I was thinking of buying a Asus PG248Q, but I have seen the Dell S2417DG. My display card is a MSI Gaming X 1080ti. I don't want to go bigger than a 24" monitor. I am 80% convinced of the Dell.

My problem is my space. Personally I think a 24" 1440p display will have the sweet spot. But back to the topic, what do you think of the Dell?

I'd go for the Dell. The desktop might need scaling but gaming will look amazing. I haven't tried 144hz, but from what I've read above that it gets negligible.
