Ok, so the NAG "who dropped who first" confusion aside (sounds like someone did not put things on paper to me).
What exactly was the issue with the MSSA thing with the "competitor"? How do you even have "direct competitors" in this type of business situation where you rely entirely on sponsorships ? It's like Red Bull sponsoring their own F1 team -and- throwing some money at your team (which didn't have any money before) and then you complain about plastering red bull stickers on your car? Or am i missing something?
Who is the "direct competitor" anyway? Mweb? How is Mweb a direct competitor? I don't quite understand the business model going behind "Event Hosting" , so someone please inform me. I would think if you're passionate about hosting events and growing the -community- , then you would welcome sponsorship from anywhere, especially from other companies also hosting events themselves (and not see them as "competitors" in the first place ).
What did PolarFluke expect MSSA to do , or rather "negotiate" about? Companies sponsor events for marketing reasons and generally nothing kills a deal faster than trying to make rules as to how they can market.
My drama sensors go wild when i hear things thrown around like "for the players and the community" and yet there are "direct competitors" in all this?
