Only thing I've been upset about buying is ESO, was caught up in the Hype, pre-ordered etc... should have waited done more research into it before dropping that type of money.

I bought something collectable online from Amazon UK (Hills Card Limited if its allowed to be said) and it arrived damage and the cause was the poor packaging the seller used instead of boxing it with bubblewrap.

So I was unhappy and my answer is no I did not cause it to break.

Seller will not admit it is his fault and refund or send another :p.

Did you read through the seller's reviews before ordering from him?

You decided to order it online knowing full-well that there are risks involved with shipment and fraud etc. Don't you think a little bit of that is on you?

Yes I did and he admitted via email he would delete my bad feedback so I presume he deletes a lot of the bad feedback as I did not see much. He has 4.9/5 Stars.

I have problems once in a while with ebay.com, but paypal refunds me if the seller won't so not using amazon.com again.

Does the Amazon site allow the buyer/seller to simply delete negative feedback? That seems retarded.

Interesting; I would think that Amazon's first party products are fine, but I'd be loathe to purchase from third-party sellers (that aren't established shops).

And what about this question ;):

Still out of both of our control so not sure who to blame besides the post office, but there's still ways to reduce shipment problems although more costly as I receive from US with no problems with same items :D.

Out of your control yes, but that doesn't mean that some of the blame doesn't lie with you. You still decided to go that route versus buying it from a local store, or flying there and picking it up yourself and bringing it back? :D

I guess you right as I did not buy it when it was in stock here as I had no cash at the time or a card to use online :).

Because we all have money lying around that we can spend R20k to fly to the UK for a game pick up. I take it the word "practicality" is not in your vocabulary.

Wow this is a hard question.

Ultimately you put the money down, you took the risk. But some things are falsely advertised and some things have a strong pedigree but can still turn out to be duds.

Im looking at you Street Fighter 4 and Jeep 4x4

I just stick to popular titles I know won't fail to avoid that :), learnt that after getting a fake game from a shop and it also looked legit many years back so always research now.

Somewhat

I bought a Rocat Kave headset, thinking it was better then my Corsair Vengeance 1500.Played a game and thought it sounded a bit odd, played some music and thought to myself 'wtf is this shit'.(I still regard my CV1500 as better for gaming and music)

I'm now looking for a pair of headphones that is good for music, hopefully from Sennheiser since i have heard allot of good things about their brand.
