Prospects for a possible fuel price decrease at the end of October are looking positive, the Automobile Association of SA (AA) said on Tuesday.

"International petroleum prices softened between October 2 and 11, giving an over-recovery of between 10 and 12 cents per litre for diesel, 15 cents for illuminating paraffin and 24 to 25 cents for petrol," the AA said in a statement.

right on schedule. same time every year right before the holiday season the petrol price drops. come January it climbs like a bitch again
 
Doubt it will be a big decrease, the dollar still has the rand's balls in a cage.

SA needs to man up and sort out its shit if we are to see any improvement. We just waste so much money and for what, so Zuma gets a nice house, some swiss ceo can rake in millions off our roads, so politicians get a fat wage after being suspended, so unions can kill any investment. We seriously need to sort our shit out.

The petrol price is one of many indicators that shows how bad we have it but 10c is nothing to cheer about after the increases we have seen.

I never get excited about anything decreasing, i feel it is just a plight to keep the wolves from the door really.

Like Malice pointed out its only going to increase again shortly.
