Still something I enjoy doing when I meet someone new.

It gets certain aspects wrong naturally, it general is a nice tool to understand why a person thinks the way they do or will react to certain conditions.

I myself am an ESTJ. - http://www.personalitypage.com/html/ESTJ.html

Whats your opinion on the myger-briggs system or other classifications that try to box a persons behaviour etc etc

After competing the test read your type review from: http://www.personalitypage.com

I find them to be more.. accurate of sorts for some reason.

Lol, seems like it's correct in most places, and not so with others.

No in-between answers only black and white ? bit daft imho as it's A or B according to the situation not just A or B. Then there is the obvious repeating of the same question, but different wording, but here goes:

ISTJ - The "Examiner"
Temperament: SJ (Protector)

Primary Function: Introverted Sensing
Population: 8.5% (10.5% male, 6.5% female)

I am ESTJ - the Overseer.
Temperament SJ - Protector

Population 13% (16% male and 10% female)

Same as George W Bush and Tony Soprano, apparently

ISTJ. Thankfully I've learned to conceal that 100% very well, so you'd not pick it up easily.

Same. Even got one of my classmates to do a spontaneous Rorschach. Doesn't work too well if the other person knows how its done...

your opinion on the myger-briggs system or other classifications
Pretty reliable *if* you've got a wide range of contexts. If you only meet a person in one context then the results get tainted by the persons attitude towards that activity. Also, I find that every now & then someone defies classification though. Especially if the person is very intelligent & private...its just layers upon layers of masks.

ISTP - The "Craftsman"

Temperament: SP (Creator)

Primary Function: Introverted Thinking

Population: 6% (8.5% male, 3.5% female)

I always find these tests somewhat interesting, although I tend to prefer the more detailed ones, since they go into a lot of analysis. Although one test I did a few years ago pointed out that there was a small chance that I was gaming the results based on control questions.

The thing is, these results are never really set in stone - they can be affected on a daily basis even, based on things like your immediate situations (to a lesser extent) and your emotional stability and well-being at the time of taking the test.

At the time I took my last test I was actually going through a particularly rough patch and happened to be really uncertain about a number of things (need I point out a member of the opposite gender was involved? :D ) - and the results of that test were substantially different from the ones seen below. Phrasing of the questions can also alter results, since language processing can differ from person to person.

Anyways - my results:

ISTJ - The "Examiner"
Temperament: SJ (Protector)

Primary Function: Introverted Sensing
Population: 8.5% (10.5% male, 6.5% female)

And this is interesting ... some other famous ISTJs consist of a lot of US presidents, the Queen of England ... and Darth Vader. Guess I should switch to the Dark Side after all :p

lol. Darth Vader. cool :)

These tests over the internet are pretty general and often need a person to evaluate your results and talk to you about them. I've done this test through a company awhile back and it was very useful.

I'm ISFP

moderately expressed introvert
slightly expressed sensing personality
moderately expressed feeling personality
slightly expressed perceiving personality
