Assuming that money is no object, what would you most like to be able to do or experience before Life reaches the Game Over screen?


Here are some of my [sometimes unrealistic] ideas.

To....

...be able to take some leave and fly off to visit some of the people I chat to online.
...be able to attend RAGE at least once.
...be able to visit my sister in England without wiping out my life savings.
...be able to redecorate my room at Beatty House, and pay to have those things that have STILL have not been repaired, fixed....and I would put in a proper door.
...be able to buy my own good quality bed linen, duvet, cushions, etc.
...be able to buy a terrific set of speakers for my PC/TV Doesn’t have to be surround-positioning speakers might be tricky with such a configuration, so a really good set of stereo or 2.1 speakers would be suitable. Bowers and Wilkins? :p
....buy a WACOM graphics tablet
....buy Adobe Photoshop
...visit Silicon Valley
...eat Sushi in Japan
....build the PC of my dreams-none of the obligatory compromises that I have had to make to date. [So yes......double or triple my normal build budget]

Mess around on an organ or electronic keyboard
Go crazy on a drum kit/glockenspiel/saxophone/electric guitar
Go rowing. [on a river]
Visit an observatory
Attend selected lectures by renowned professors
See this planet from space
Visit the Louvre
Visit the Swiss Alps and go to Bern.
Get a B.Sc
Paddle in the Mediterranean.
Visit those part of New Zealand where The Lord of the Rings was filmed.
Visit CERN
Visit the world's biggest aquarium
Contribute towards research into CMT or genetics in general.
Sleep in a four-poster bed with a canopy and super-high thread-count sheets.
Enjoy a candle-lit dinner at one of the world's best restaurants with my family.

Hmmmm.....what else - and what would you like to do?

Shortlist;
Drive an R34 GT-R Vspec II or Z-Tune on the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Drive the Mines R34 Time Attack on the Tsukuba Race track.
DJ Alongside Mauro Picotto, Lab-4 and Technoboy.
Play a round of COD4 Promod against D1ablo, Phantasy, Stevy, Qlimaxzu, Luboshmir.
Take a Bugatti Veyron SuperSport to it's limits on the VW Test Track.
Play a round of Golf on Augusta or Pebble beach with Gary Player, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen.
Have a weekend hangout with Marilyn Manson.
Great White shark cage diving at Isla Guadalupe.
Spend a day with Will Ferrell.
 
1. go on a nice long island holiday
2. get another job(working on this one currently)
3. build a loft style apartment
4. get married
5. have kids(atleast 2)


for now that is my 5/10 year plan
 
- Take a year or two off to surf the world, try tow in surfing
- Take yearly overseas holidays
- Have no debt
- Upgrade my pc at least once a year
- Own a superbike (again :p)
- Tour Asia and Europe for a year
- Have my own company which is successful
- Be able to afford a better medical aid, not just a hospital plan
- Own my own house in SA
- Learn to fly a helicopter
 
- See AC/DC, Manson, Iron Maiden Live (In Flames, Metallica, Slayer and Rammstein already ticked off this list)
- Move into my own house that I bought (happening 1 June, yay!!!)
- Sky dive
- Then as Plassie said, play golf on Augusta :) mmm....
- Own a Nissan GTR (in both ways)

Damn, this is a short list....
 
I'm not sure what my list would be, but it would include lots of money, a couple of houses, a private race track, lots of sports cars, a yacht, a subermersable, a trip into space, naked models, a few metal bands and gallons of beer.
 
See slayer,Iron maiden,metallica and primus(well les claypool ) live

Release an album.(The tsar experience bwawawa:p )
Travel Europe
Move to England(working on it)
Have a collection of guitars
Go to Egypt to see the monuments.
Get old and grumpy :p
Go to japan(always wanted to before the anime craze my first friend was Japanese and his mother was from Tokyo that sparked my interest)

- Punch Justin Bieber in the face, repeatedly.

- Do a world trip in the Lamborghini Aventador

- Reinstate Apartheid globally, but instead of basing it on race/ethnicity, base it on level of IQ - segregation of stupid and intelligent people.

If that fails then..

- Leave planet Earth with a selection of woman and repopulate somewhere else :P
 
Yoh you okes have some modest dreams (excl the obviously crazy ones). Nobody wants to buy a jet or island?

Well those are easy enough. All you need is money....which if you think about it carefully isn't all that much of an obstacle in the greater scheme of things. Let me ask you this...how much money do you reckon it'll take to wipe out that list (excl the visiting space)?
