Anyone interested in this game? I'm pretty apprehensive about it myself, but it might have some potential; it is being created by Arcane after all.

One thing's for sure. It shouldn't be called. Prey since it has absolutely no connection to the real Prey. :mad:

 
I am split in two wit this one, I cant think of this game without having the original Prey in the back of my mind, to me the original Prey was a milestone in game, was a new idea with a nice story and great gameplay. Looked great too.

From the trailers, the game certainly does look interesting, I'll wait for a couple of reviews and gameplay vids by common youtube guys.
 
I'm looking forward to this as i could never really finish the first one as the insane swap around movement made me puke more than a few times. i got some insane motion sickness with that game. so actually looking forward to this. it's prolly not gonna be in the same type of story line but lets see.
 
I don't recall playing the first, at least not to my recollection. This however is looking very interesting and I am intrigued.
 
I never finished the first one...I got bored way too quickly. It was the same with bioshock, when death has no actual risk to it, you're essentially playing with cheats on and that gets super boring quick and I lose interest :/
 
I absolutely loved the first Prey... Thought this was a sequel, but then i was sad...

The game does look intriguing, but pretty much like everyone else, its missing the old Indian Vibe... I loved the spirit walking, the last Prey was one of my favorite games of that era...

Anyway as [MENTION=6280]Blazzok[/MENTION] pointed out it's currently on special at cdkeys.com. And like [MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION] said it has more in common with System Shock than it does the original Prey; which was reason enough for me to grab a copy. :D

I would however advise against using those incentives, especially so early in game. I think it's more enjoyable being somewhat handicapped and is fundamental to the games play style.
 
Okay [MENTION=2132]Xiphan[/MENTION] - let me know how it goes. I am thoroughly enjoying it but only about 6 hours in, but it is slow going for me. I like to read all emails and coming/magazines.

I also think [MENTION=9789]DieGrootHammer[/MENTION] _might_ be getting it.

But playing this has also spurred me on buying Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, so that's downloading...
 
I will get this game once I've got some more stability and access to my Xbox. I've read nothing but amazing things about this game. It really sounds like something I would absolutely adore.

I discovered my firs game breaking bug. After about 8 hours in I finally got my headset (the thing that scans enemies) and I became stuck, tried to go to menu and then game froze. Was forced to close application. But other than that no other issues thus far.
