Only legitimate thing I was able to find was this (or at least from a reputable source);

Here's Slightly Mad Studio's Ian Bell on the latest delay:

Despite our long heritage and pedigree in making critically-acclaimed racing games, Project Cars is by far the grandest and most intricately detailed of them all. Despite therefore the game being 99.9 per cent complete, the remaining 0.1 per cent attending to small issues and bugs has been tricky to anticipate.
We're absolutely dedicated to delivering a ground-breaking experience and by targeting mid-May fans can be assured that's what they'll receive.
Again, we want to thank our fans for their support and patience on this matter. There's a high expectancy from racing fans around the world that Project Cars is going to be an exciting new contender in the simulation racing space and we firmly believe gamers deserve it to be in its most complete and polished state when they come to play it on day one.

And since the gaming community is our primary focus and has always been at the heart of the project during development, we would like to offer some free content to all players as compensation for this short delay and as acknowledgement of how grateful we are. This gift, that we're sure is going to excite fans, will be available from day one and revealed shortly. Keep an eye on our website for more info.

Slightly Mad Studios promised free content by way of compensation that will be available the day the game comes out.

Only thing i don't like about all this is that Slightly Mad doesn't announce it on the Official project cars website we always found out Via some other game site...........

Very interesting indeed. Will be nice to see how it performs with my GTX970 though I have been leaning towards getting it on PS4. But then my wheel won't be of use. Though I will probably end up getting a loan copy from the interwebs as I may not be able to afford it near release. We'll see what happens....

I'm really considering getting this on Xbox One. I love racing games on the console, and I know my PC will not be able to play the game on any really high graphical setting. I was really meh about this game, but all that I've read/seen of it makes me quite excited about it.

I had a look at the track list and the car list it currently has, and OMG, is there something they HAVEN'T added? If you don't find anything or anywhere to race in this game, you are not suppose to play racing games.

PS4 for me! Racing games are meant to be played on a couch in front of a big ass TV. I just can't see myself playing this at my tiny desk on a 23" monitor. 47" TV and PS4 all the way!

I pre ordered this on PC the collectors edition so i get some extra cars and i get the 3 bonus cars for pre ordering And i think with my new setup and my R9 280 i'm gettin tomorrow i'm really gonna enjoy this game specially with my racing setup.

Very nice setup! What wheel is that?

I really feel Project Cars needs a good setup for it to be worth while. Sadly I don't see myself playing it on a keyboard...
