Project Cars

One thing i am irked about from Project Cars is the fact that they use spotify for in game music with different channels available but we in south africa can't use spotify so does that mean we won't have in game music?

Not sure about that to be honest. I imagine there's some generic in-menu music, but assume as part of the drive to keep costs down they haven't licensed any/much music to be included in the game, hence the use of Spotify.

Also, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that music only plays in the non-race areas of the game and not in-car at all, so I guess if you want tunes to listen to while you do your real-time 24-Hours of Le Mans you'll have to run them in a media player in the background. (Happy to be corrected if I misread this info.)

Personally I prefer it off. The sound of the cars is music to me ^_^

And yeah, can't wait to arrange an actual 24h session again, around Nordschieffe or De la Sarthe.
Last game I remember doing that in was Gran Turismo 5.

Yeah man PJC is gonna rly bring the fun and the grit back to racing, also if i have to listen to the same engine noise for 24H i will go off my trolly that's why i need music i love a car revving up hell i love hearing my bike revving up but you can only take so much of it.

But i love the fact that you don't have to grind for cars you can start a league and race to your hearts content and have fun not this "ok not all can race because so and so does not have said car unlocked yet".

I have asked them feedback on the whole spotify issue but still waiting their response
 
When do we plan on setting up leagues or races or something?

I think the game should be out for a while first to get the solo play under wing.
 
So annoying having to wait for release...which is still about 7 hours away...which means I'll be asleep and tomorrow I'll be busy...so won't get to play till Friday...Yay...

You and me both. So far I've only download 378mb thanks to business hours shaping. Then I'm working all weekend as well. Over time scheduled from sat 10am to sunday 5pm. :mad:
 
Just a quick update Df did a new article performance is about the same as it was in there previous article.Great to see the game review well.
 
Well i'm only getting mine on friday cos i bought the limited edition hard copy so it's all discs :( so stuff all of you playing before me :p
