PS3 and Singstar Songs - Bound to old Console

Hi all

Maybe someone here had the same issue and got a way to sort it out.

I had a PS3 (old 60gb phat one) that packed up. But 2-3 months before it gave in I bought and downloaded some song packs of the PSN Sing store.

Since then I bought a new console, and tried to redownload the old song packs. But its telling me that it cannot be downloaded because they are bound to my old console.

I cant even deregister the console as it "stukkend". Got the RLoD...

Any ideas?
 
I don't know much about PS3s, but surely if you activate your account on the new console it should allow you to download purchased content? I know it works like that for XBLA.

If all fails, Google is your friend.
