Yeah that deal ain't all it's cut out to be. On the same page of that ad is a brand new 360 Elite with Splinter Cell for the same price.

Spend an xtra grand and get the slim 250GB.

Refurbed means it will kak again at some point. Guaranteed. Especially when you consider it will have been repaired by some local repair company, such as Let me Repair, or Part Serv or whoever. None of which have great track records.

True not even the xbox elite special right next to it will help, a friend of mine showed it to me and said its great because he can get a PS3 with TWO games for the same price as an Elite with only one game....

Little did he know those games are old and Splinter Cell that comes with the Elite is brand new...
