Nope, in fact it will be a good move as they're already selling it at a loss, but the increase in hardware sales they'll achieve will generate more games sales, more accessory sales etc which is where the real profit lies.
Remember, a companies aim is not necessarily profits, but market share, and they need a price drop to get the upper hand on Microsoft
