PS3 Update 3.70

Has anyone with the original 60GB release edition PS3s had any problems with the latest system update? That being 3.70 A few people on the PS3 forum have mentioned a problem logging into PSN... I know that without the update I cannot log in anyway but I have had major issues before and would rather keep the system running until the next update *paranoid neck twitch flares up*

I know there have been few bugs with this update. Biggest one being that Automatic update doesn't work properly.

I download my updates manually anyway or do you mean game updates as well? This PS has survived an electric gate incident and many other adventures but Sony really takes the cake for causing problems sometimes
 
Sorry for the delayed reply, but i see you updated already, i had no issues either... i forgot to repost back.. sorry.

No problem man. I guessed that you would of said something if their actually was a problem. happy gaming =)
 
i still dont understand why the PSN cannot implement incremental updates? why must each and every update be so large when teh changes are often minimal ?

When you download the firmware directly on your PS3 they are incremental.

ahhhh....this is news to me. I had done updates back in the days around 3.0 and the updates were full, even when done on console. ever since then, i just keep dloading updates. thanks dude! I will try the next one from console and it should be chop-chop
