Ps4 firmware 1.60 releasing tomorrow Pulse Headset support and stability.

The next system software update for PlayStation 4 (version 1.60) will be released tomorrow (4th February 2014), bringing compatibility support to PS4 for the PULSE Wireless Stereo Headset (including the GTA V limited edition version) and the original Wireless Stereo Headset.
This means that you will now be able to use these wireless headsets on your PS4 and can experience 7.1 virtual surround sound and voice chat while playing your PS4 games.

This is good news for me. I've been holding off of purchasing the Sony Stereo headset for my PS3 until compatibility with PS4 is confirmed. Don't want to have to replace it when I get a PS4 sometime this year (I hope :p).
 
I have played Outlast on PC with my headset before, was a pretty damn terrifying experience but on PS4 it will have virtual 7.1 as well which should makes things a little more interesting.

Seems like it and two thumbs up to Sony for enabling that. Now if we can just get some of the other features they teased us with.
