PS4 - Game Questions

That is a great idea do you know how big the download is?

Download is 1,4GB something for the game and the game update is 1,6GB something.

I played the PS3 version way back when it came out on PS+. Fun with friends and this looks like more of the same. Never tried it online. Though be warned, seems there are some users saying the game is overheating their consoles, when in the menu of all places. For some reason it bumps up the fan speed of the console as well. Not that widespread, but enough people complaining for the devs to have noticed.

Probably unlocked the frame rate in the menu. Happened a while back with Starcraft 2.

Just buy some of those thick, rubber washers from Builders or some rubber buffets. The best I have found so far for my PS4 is the rubber stick on feet you get with some PC cases, stuck four of them to the bottom of my PS4 and removed the rubber below the power/eject button.

My fiance's PS4 has four loose rubber grommets lifting the PS4 up, also helps keep it stable from bumps, etc. You can find grommets at Builders near the bathroom/kitchen area. RJK manufactures them in SA and they look like this:

Opening up the HDD bay and "tightening" the screw there did solve my eject issue completely, but it does not seem to work for everyone. Mine could be a combo of the rubber feet, the removal of the stock PS4 rubber foot or the screw tightening. Or just my swearing at it everytime it decided to eject my discs.

ok so I stuck 3 little "feet" to the front of the box, about 3mm high, that I salvaged off a coaster and the problem seems to have escalated :(

guess I'll be opening up that bitch tonight

Same here. Even my DualShock 4 has held up pretty well. No wear on the thumbsticks at all.

My first DS4 that came with the console the left stick felt a bit "slick" after playing a lot of Fifa. Bought some of those orb thumb grips, and they work quite nice. Got me the Batman skins for the controllers yesterday, and only saw when I opened the box that there was also batman thumb grips which look nice. But I find with the skin on and the thumb grips, that the sticks catch when pushing them to the side, and you have to push it extra bit hard to get complete movement to the side :( Games like Dragon Age and so it is ok as you don't generally require that amount of movement, but some other games (like Race the Sun or Entwined) where you primarily play with the sticks it does put me off. So I have to choose, take of the skin, preserve the thumb grips, or keep skin and play without thumb grips.

ok so raise it a bit more and tighten screw and if the problem then still occurs, proceed with endless sobbing

well mine started beeping and ejecting again last week, to which all I did was move my console forward, so about an inch is off the surface and therefor the touch sensor and rubber pad are not obstructed. Problem has been solved.

Looks kinda crap in the living room with it sitting off the edge, but I haven't got the fanciest living space :p
