PS4 - Game Questions

Talking about the Last of Us Remastered, you can pick up the digital version for only R193 on BoxedDeal.

You need a US PSN account to redeem the code though.

More info here.

Grats! I still have to get to playing first light. I only booted it up to check out the graphics.

Thanks :D

It's more fun than Second Son, probably because it's a lot shorter, SS felt like it dragged on too long at times with the "this is the end" every time you encounter the antagonist. Fetch's neon powers feel so much more fluid than Delsin's did.

Does TLoU only track/record your stat of your play through once you start/begin the second play through?

Looking at my stats and I've played <18h but it hasn't registered a completion.

I think it shows the completions for each difficulty separate. Somewhere down the bottom of the stats list if I recall right.

Nicely done. I'm one challenge away from my plat. Need to kill 50 dudes with a super bolt. Do you think the damn arena is dropping any blue shards? On 43/50 so should get it done tonight.

That's what I thought. When I load up the save file the only option is, "continue with new game plus". So it's registered the completion and I've got the trophies, so it's just weird is all.
Also, can you not change the difficulty option on your second playthrough? The only options I have is Easy and Normal, and I first played through on normal.

If you have already started the play through I don't think you can change it. But with TLOU:remastered if you start a new game all difficulties should be available from the start. Some guys started their first playthrough on grounded.

Maybe I have to get through the prologue. Cos I think you can change difficulty in game as well, not sure if this will count. I just can't understand why I can't choose any difficulty for the second play.

Maybe has something to do with me not having my PS+ anymore.

Edit:
New Game+ is a standard feature in this game. That is not to get confused with the New Game+ glitch that has been around on the PS3 version. When you beat this game and start NG+ you can only start on the highest difficulty (or lower) that you completed the game on initially.

Yeah, it's a beautiful game, and fsking difficult.

Also, has anyone got or tried Geometry Wars 3 and OlliOlli?

I have OlliOlli. Didn't give it much of a chance, but it has potential. Takes a bit of coordination to land stuff properly.

It's fsking difficult! I don't think I even has one trophy!

One of the hardest to get looks to be playing EVERY Level in the hardest difficulty and land every trick, if you are sketchy or make a mistake then you have to start over as you bail and fail.

Dude. I can't even finish a level and it's challenges on easy.
