PS4 - Game Questions

Hey, that screw issue sorted mine and a mates from work. Maybe give that a bash?
Mine hasn't ejected a single disc since.

About 75% of all PS4s have the eject problem. Different things fix it. Turning it on its side while it is on, turning it off and unplugging it.
Both work for me, but only lasted a while.

Tightened the screw on the HDD bay side and I haven't had an eject since. The drive also feels tighter when ejecting, sounds slightly different as well.

You could get a replacement PS4 and have the same issue from the start or later on. I read about a guy who had it happen to him three different times, every time he received his replacement console the eject disk problem would start happening after a few days.

Try the fixes before you send in your console. The chance of getting a console back that won't have this issue is very slim. I know of only two people that never had the issue, out of at least thirty people with PS4s.

I did try the 'screw fix' when it started last year about a month after buying it, it stopped but now since monday it's doing it every time I switch the PS4 off. Strange that it only occurs once I have played a game and only if there is no disc in the drive. I will give it another try otherwise it's off to partserve.

Updated mine last night. Since then, only logged into the US store to check out the new DoA5 core fighters (which is still downloading). So I can sign in, at least.

I've also just recently heard of a new "bug" where the device will automatically delete digitally downloaded games, but this excludes disc installed games. Just a heads up, as it happened to a colleague.

Because that's not annoying at all with our fantastic internet speeds...

That thread is a year old already... Doesn't really give any indication how to avoid it.

Have you tried that fix on youtube? Some screw at the bottom that needs to be tightened I think? I've got one other player, so if and when you can join then we are at least three. [MENTION=22]Deceptor[/MENTION], you think Crazy can be done with three guys?

Updated last night and no issues for me.

I can actually access the store for once without having to reboot my entire network!

Still need to set up my US account, just hadn't gotten around to it yet...

It's actually easier to solo Crazy. There is a vid on youtube showing the map and tactics.
When you play with more people the enemies just get harder.

Serious? I'll google it a bit. Would like to get that out of the way before concentrating on the last few MP challenges/trophies. Really enjoying the game now again that I don't have lag.

Yep that's the vid I used to solo crazy.
It's not too bad once you give it a few runs.

I tried doing crazy with a full party and it was impossible. Mainly because the other people usually die all the time.

Ya, that's what I was afraid of... I should periodically clone my drive maybe.

Touch wood, but I've also not had the eject issue or games going missing. Just had the one issue where I was getting trophies for Transistor while playing Rogue Legacy. Database rebuild sorted that out.

I've also upgraded to the latest firmware, no issues thus far that I could see.
