Thinking of leaving SA and living there with my GF. Was supposed to go December but things changed.
I'll be booking my ticket today/tomorrow. I'll only be gone for about 3 months and then I'll be back for awhile.

Similar thing happened to a friend of mine in Oz. He met a US girl online, visited her for a month and came back married to her. Now he's struggling to get back to the US to live with her permanently...

Yeah our situation is slightly different though.
We've done quite a lot of planning ( Almost 2 years ) and everything is pretty much set up. Just want to travel together and see if I can call the USA home (Which I am sure I can lol).
People always say the grass isn't always greener on the other side but honestly in this case, SA doesn't have much grass left where as the US is pretty much grass heaven
I have a very rich client and he is also leaving SA, he told me that SA was amazing for business and he made millions here but he says that gravy train is now coming to an end. None of his investors (Seriously wealthy people) want anything to do with SA anymore, the ANC is fucking up the country and chasing away new business.
I honestly don't see a future here for myself and my gf, Its time for me to move on before things go really bad.
Eh anyway bit off topic there lol.
