PS4 Update 2.0 coming next week.

My brother let me know that he did the update earlier today, will quickly check out the new stuff tonight.
 
got the wife to start my update this afternoon, gonna check it out when I get home now ^_^

Your wife, does she have a sister and is she available? :) /jk

I guess I can squeeze 200mb~ out of my few gig's I have left. Eager to see the custom home screens.
 
I quickly checked it out when I got home from work and the friends list seems a lot quicker, it's almost instant now where it would sometimes not load at all in the past. Haven't checked out custom backgrounds and the other features yet, but according to other local forums share play has not worked for anyone yet. I expected our internet would be too crappy for it. Would have been such a cool feature to be able to use.

Yeah, one of the first things I looked for...

1. Download YouTube app
2. Look for themes... look for themes... they're under settings... oh look, all I can do is change the background colors WOW!

Saw this over on GameSpot

Sony still plans to release a PlayStation 4 feature that allows players to suspend and resume games near-instantly at the touch of the power button.

The corporation first discussed the Suspend/Resume technology in February 2013, during the PlayStation 4 reveal event, where it said that players could pause a game by powering down the console and recommence when booting up.

However, more than 18 months since, Sony has yet to finish developing the feature, and tends to not discuss it publicly.

But during a recent press event where Sony revealed the latest features of its PS4 2.0 update, the corporation confirmed it is still working on the technology, though didn't elaborate any further.

The PS4 Masamune update is now live in the US and UK, and introduces a number of new features such as YouTube video uploading, enhanced voice commands and Share Play.
