PS4 Update 2.0 coming next week.

Just had a strange thing with mine (running v2.02) where my pS4 was off, then all of a sardine I heard it bleep. My power button did nothing, it couldn't even be pressed. It was basically stuck in an infinite safe mode loop. No matter what I did I could not start in normal mode.

Had to unplug everything for about 5-10 minutes and then only did it work again.

Mine did a weird thing as well where I put it in rest mode the night, and the next day the red light was flashing and it would not swith on again. also had to unplug it.... :wtf:

Red light flashing.. usually means overheating.

But yes, I can agree there are still some issues on 2.02!
 
Another strange scenario...

... while jolling FarCry4 this evening, unit went bleep and suddenly I had the screen saying, "The PS4 is going into rest mode".

DAFUQ?! I was busy playing a game, you can't tell me I pressed something to cause this?!

Save your game data to the net, get the latest update on a memory stick, and re-initialize the PS4 with the latest update.
 
Also having some strange things happening with my ps4. Other night I just couldn't get a picture , eventually after unplugging it and starting it up a few times it came back. I also find almost every time I use rest mode the ps4 doesn't wake and ends up rebooting and doing a scan. Sucks.

I noticed after the update(s) I had to reapply that setting to use network while in rest mode. For some reason it turns that feature off by default with a new update.
