If u usualy buy from takealot then the deal is worth it no matter how u look at it...
If u buy vouchers from takealot itself then they automatically get joined.
This is obviously a 1 time offer...
I would have purchased at least 10 of them if u could join them...

Is there a limit on how many i can buy? i dont wanna join them...

Edit: it says one groupon purchase per person and also says and one groupon for takealot purchase so i thnk u can only buy 1?

I just phoned TakeAlot and she lady confrimed that if you buy a game of R350, they will deduct the R200 voucher so you still need to pay in R150. So at the end you pay TakeAlot R150 and you pay R100 for the Voucher.

Does the credit have to be used within a certain time limit? I'm only going to preorder Skyrim at the end of the month when I get my new money, and I don't want it to expire.
 
Hehehehe. After that I'll need to pre order BF3 and wait 2 more days. Luckily I work very close to TakeAlot in Milnerton, so can collect early.
 
ok, this is interesting. they have now changed the groupon site to only allow for the purchase of 1 voucher. but i already ordered 5. will they honour that purchase ?

secondly, how does take2 voucher/credit system work?? if i have multiple vouchers and capture them against the takealot site, do they simply stack into one big credit note ?? oh please say yes! :-)
 
I have to do an EFT seeing as they won't accept my credit card, but I'm not even going to bother. Their EFT process is absolutely shit. You have to put in a reference number and deal name? Uhm, the reference number barely fits in the reference bar. What's the point of a reference number if you don't know which deal it is for in the first place then?

Also, after submitting my order for the voucher, it didn't show up on my orders page in my account. This is a really good deal, but I'm not going to risk paying them the money and then just having them say 'sorry, the order expired'.
 
They've accepted my CC, maybe you have a doge one ;)

what mine says. besides all eft has to be verified first, this you should know.

NOPE it says there one voucher per one item purchased.....

Nah, mine just expires end of October. Doesn't want to accept a credit card that expires so soon.

The problem with EFT is that they want you to put in a GIANT reference, and the order does display under my orders tab.

I'm going to give it one more try, but if they tell me the order didn't go through, I'm going to be spitting fire. They don't refund your cash and I really don't want to lose the money. The only reason I'm desperate for this is because I desperately need the discount on Skyrim to ensure I can pay for food next month. :P
