Which is why none of the sellers can really afford to do stupids expo specials. Their prices in fact are the same as any other time during the year. In fact, year after year it's the same vendors and retailers there in the same spot.

I attended the expo last year and honestly saw or did nothing that I couldn't have done any other time of the year in a retail shop or at home! rAge offers nothing really new or exciting anymore. Whoopee, a big LAN. That is also becoming harder and harder to arrange due to almost all new MP games requiring internet connectivity.

Yeah it's no longer exciting anymore. Doubt I will go this year either.

I got into trouble with a booth girl before :O

She gave me a advert and I chucked it into a bin in front of her and she told me I am not very nice :O

...I'll just not bathe for few days and lan via steam/wage/igame together with pirating shit and that will have the same effect as being at rage lan. For everything else there is the internet and pod/game sites imho. My honest opinion is that its like bexa, was ZOMG first time, maybe the second and now it's just become another meh.
 
Will they ever bring this to Cape Town? I would love to go but between work and lack of cash - I cannot attend!
 
I have gone to rage every year since 2007 so yea I'll probably go... they have become less entertaining over the years though... :(
 
I've never been able to attend the lan as I've always had an annual conference on the same weekend but this year the conference has moved so I'm going to give it a go.
 
won't be going seeing as i won't be getting a new PC :(,if only i didn't turn 18 this year i might have got a PC instead of a car :p

oh well.

Iv'e always had the same type of problem, want to go, but something else always keeps me from going. Maybe this year I'll be lucky.....
 
I'll be there. Not gaming. Just soaking up atmosphere and hopefully see some new game I like. My daughter absolutely loves it. She loved the Kinect last year. We going back for more :)
